Upload a document

First of all, start by uploading your free text document as a .docx, .pdf, .md or .txt file using the “Browse” button. The explorer window will open to let you select the file.

Great! So it`s just a typical upload and fortunately I have most of my protocols as .docx, .pdf or .md file. This way I can directly use them.

BOAT

1. Click on “Select a File” at the center of the page
2. Select growth_protocol.md from the Violas-PhD-Project folder.
   

   In this protocol I described the process of growing Arabidopsis thailiana.

3. The document gets uploaded into BOAT

The selected document will be displayed on the left side of the page and keeps the format. Now, the annotation process can be begin with.
